Transformation and Adaptation (2020-2023)

The 2020 period marked a significant transformation for FAC. The organization rebranded its annual gathering as the "5th Toronto Feminist Art Festival" with the theme "Narrative Healing," featuring 75+ artists from Canada and internationally at OCAD University. This event represented the culmination of FAC's evolution from conference to comprehensive festival format.

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted innovative digital programming, including the "PANDEMIC: A Feminist Response" online exhibition. This digital pivot addressed contemporary inequities including mental health, racial capitalism, disability justice, and domestic violence, demonstrating FAC's ability to respond to urgent social issues.
